River of Life Life Groups are regular gatherings of about 10-20 people who are interested in establishing godly relationships and growing in their faith.
We Believe In Relationships
In today’s fast-paced global society, more people are separated from their families and the friends they made while growing up. Especially in our city, which is the home of several Marine Corps installations, there are a great number of people who are constantly coming into the area without knowing anyone.
In our desire to help connect people to God and to others, Life Groups have become a key component in helping facilitate relationships with like-minded people. Through these relationships we establish a strong community of believers who care for one another and are there for each other.
We Believe In Discipleship
Jesus didn’t call for believers, but disciples. We are committed to seeing people grow in their relationship with God. Each Life Group has Bible study, prayer, and opportunities to practice your faith in a safe environment.
Our Bible studies are based on the sermon given the Sunday before, so everyone has a chance to listen and be prepared to discuss what God is saying to the church at River of Life.
We Believe In Equipping
Everyone has a destiny and a purpose for life. God has designed a blueprint for each person’s life and Life Groups provide an atmosphere where equipping takes place for both life and ministry.
